During their one-week cultural placement at the National Gallery three Primary Education students from the University of Roehampton produced this curriculum map based on Turner's 'The Fighting Temeraire'. They focused on three of the themes in the painting 'Boats, Water and the Sunset' and wrote down lesson ideas which could link to different areas of the National Curriculum. After this initial collaborative stage the students decided on areas to develop into schemes of work.
