One student fulfilled part of the key stage 2 history curriculum by looking at 'Perseus turning Phineas to Stone' by Luca Giordano.
She asked her class to research the Greek myth surrounding the painting and to make their own visual interpretations of the whole story.
Class discussions also allowed other areas of the curriculum to be covered, such as the National Literacy Strategy, PSHE (personal, social and health education) and citizenship.
