A letter to Jane Emily Agnew (daughter of Thomas and Jane Agnew) from [Hayley], who is sorry to hear that Jane has still not fully recovered. Most of the letter reflects on God's will on earth and how, despite the pain, much spiritual benefit can be gained during illness. She briefly mentions Mrs Lamb's recovery, Jane's brother (Charles) and father, and Dr Spurgin (who had died a couple of days before).
