Description
Advising that he has read Vertue's letter to the Prince of Wales who says that he must take his time transcribing the catalogues of the Royal palaces and putting his remarks in order. The Prince will be at Pall Mall House for an hour on 21 October and Vertue should meet him there at 5 o'clock.
This may be a reference to the '3d book [which] contind an account I had taken of all the pictures now at the palaces of Kensington. Hampton Court--and Windsor Castle for all which I had visited and seen purposely by his Highnes order' (Vertue, Notebooks, vol. 1, p. 13).
