Lower portion of a facsimile engraving of a letter to the Duke of Wellington, 30 Jun 1815, signed by John Julius Angerstein announcing the subscription raised by merchants, bankers, traders and others in the City of London for the relief of the families of men killed and wounded in the Battle of Waterloo, and Wellington's letter of thanks, 8 Jul 1815. Includes a vignette comprising a trophy of arms and a vanquished dragon, and the arms of the allied victors.
