Description
Letter (17 Dec [c 1875-80]) from John McWhirter to George William Agnew, written from 6 Marlborough Road (McWhirter's residence from 1875-1880). The letter thanks Agnew for a cheque "making every thing right' and that he has not forgotten "that I am engaged to your table." Possibly referring to the Annual Dinner of the Artists' Benevolent Fund, McWhirter advises that from his experience as a steward the previous year Agnew should not make the table too large. He also hopes that Agnew's brother is "keeping better."
