In this letter Cantopher refers to an exchange he has had with Sir William Llewellyn, who has expressed doubts as to the authenticity of Cantopher's painting. Cantopher encloses a copy of his reply to Llewellyn and iterates that he is quite sure that his painting is by Lawrence.
