States that the Trustees and Director of the National Gallery have declined to lend any pictures from the collection for the purposes of a temporary exhibition. Applications made to them under the National Gallery (loan) act of 1883 can only be accepted when the institution applying is of a permanent character and under the control of municipal or other local authority approved by the Trustees and Director of the Gallery.
Your list will only be saved temporarily. Inactivity of more than 20 minutes could result in the loss of your list. If you would like to keep a record of your list, we suggest you print it out or email it to yourself.
Your list of records will be sent to us if you request an appointment, and a summary will be included in your appointment email notification.
