Description
The book about le Beffroi is unsuitable for the Gallery's library. Two or three volumes of Milanesis Vasari (Requisition No. 18, 19th December 1878) are published though the library lacks some volumes and in process of ordering. The library received one volume of Henry Harvard's L'Art et les Artistes Hollandais (Requisition No. 25, 11th August 1879). The library annually has 100 pound sum from H.M. Treasury for purchasing books.
