Description

Informing him that Dyer has already done the needful work to the crack in
'The Woman taken in Adultery' by Rembrandt and that Morrill has laid down
'Jospeh pardons his Brothers' by Bacchiacca but the surface of the panel
is defaced by numerous small spots where paint has disappeared which will
need to be filled by Dyer. He adds that Buttery is back working on Lord
Savile's picture, Mr Reeve's copies from Reynolds have been fetched and
that the South Kensington Museum say the pictures are not yet ready for
delivery.
