Description
Informing him that the Director of the National Gallery has been
consulted and judging from the specimen of coloured photography left here
the director does not consider that the result of the experiments justify
him continuing to occupy a place for a whole day, to the exclusion of
copyists and other photographers, and suggesting that there would be an
equally good field for his experiments at the Louvre.
