Referencing her letter of the 11th and stating that if she has any
particular object in making her request that he will see her on the
subject when she next comes to the Gallery and informing her that as
numerous applications of this kind have been received it will be
impossible to comply with them all and stating he cannot explain the
various difficulties without entering into a long correspondence.
