Informing him that the question respecting an exchange of pictures lent by the Gallery to Provincial Museums was brought before the Board of Trustees some time ago and explaining it is possible providing certain conditions (listed) are followed and enclosing a list of the Provincial Museums to which National Gallery pictures have been lent.
