Informing him that the recenty acquired 'Jesus Washing Peter's Feet' by Ford Madox Brown is currently not available to be photographed but that the Director has no objection to having photographs taken of the other pictures mentioned for reproduction in the Magazine of Art; a portrait by George Romney, 'The View of the Seafront' by Claude Joseph Vernet and the 'Portrait of Mrs Bellenden Ker' by Charles Eastlake.
