Thanking him for his letter informing him that, as per the will of the late Henry K. S. Wigglesworth, two paintings have been bequathed to the gallery and requesting that they are sent to the Gallery for inspection by the Director before the offer is formally accepted. The paintings are 'A Shipwreck' by Claude Joseph Vernet and a 'Landscape' by __ Williams Senior.
