Assuring him that the painting in question, 'Mrs Charles H. Bellenden Ker' by Sir Charles Lock Eastlake, will be claimed by thr Trustees of the National Gallery, enclosing a form of receipt and requesting he conveys to Mrs Bellenden Ker the Director's acknowledgement of her kindness in allowing the Trustees of the Gallery to take posession of the portrait.
