Explaining that he is not sure what the present rules for admission to copy in the Louvre are but that in 1885 strangers were admitted on production of their passport or on a recommendation of their Minister of Travel and suggesting she enquires to whether pencil sketching is permitted as she is not there long enough to warrant a formal application to copy.
