Acknowledging receipt of his letter and enclosure, advising that Morelli has not photographed Cimabue's 'Madonna and Child', and forwarding a letter received at the Gallery. Also enquiring if glass should be purchased for Reynolds' 'The Graces' [now transferred to the Tate and known as 'Three Ladies Adorning a Term of Hymen'] from the Gallery's budget for this financial year, or if it should be better spent on another object. Also advising that Eastlake will vote for Bruce Jay at the Athenaeum ballot to be held that evening.
