Description
From 7 Fitzroy Square: Eastlake has received a letter from Mr Buchanan complaining of the omission from the catalogue of any reference to his services. This should have been included. Buchanan recommends the Giulio Romano (NG624) and Garofalo at the Northwick sale. The Giulio Romano, when attributed to Dosso Dossi, had been restored by Reinagle. Eastlake does not want Reinagle to see his old restorations until they are toned.
