Description
From Florence: Mr Ward is to be paid. Eastlake describes his journey from Milan to Naples. He made an offer for a picture called Bellini. He has returned to Florence and plans to go to Bologna and Venice. In Milan he offered for three pictures in the Caselbarco Collection by Altobello Mellone, Savoldo and Cesare da Sesto. He refers to a picture by Razzi, and the Frizzoni pictures on Lake Como - the Boltraffio and the Moroni.
