Description
Letter from [illegible] to Charles Lock Eastlake regarding the cartoon, 'The Murder of the Innocents' by Raphael which belongs to the Foundling Hospital. A subsequent letter from J. Bronwlow, Secretary of the Foundling Hospital, requesting that the cartoon may be returned to the hospital. He encloses an extract from the minutes dated 22 Jan 1840 respecting the terms of the loans of the Raphael cartoon to the National Gallery.
