Letter from H. Heathcote Russell to Sir Charles Lock Eastlake offering for sale a painting of 'Susannah and the Elders' by Annibale Carracci for £50. Also includes a later dated receipt for the painting after it was sent to the Gallery for inspection attributing it to Luca Giordano. The offer was declined.
