Description
Two letters from H. Macbeth-Raeburn to Edward Poynter offering for sale 'Saint Jerome in the Wilderness' by Ribera, which had formerly belonged to Lucien Bonaparte, for £250 and a portrait of a Monk of the Order or Mercy of Seville by Zurbaran £300. He has deposited the paintings at the Fine Art Society for inspection. The offer was declined
