Letter from George Hayter to the Rt Honourable Mr Francis Baring, Secretary of the Treasury, offering for sale Human Nature by Correggio, St Christopher bearing the infant saviour on his shoulders by Annibale Caracci, Apollo and Martyrs by Bartolomeo Schedoni, and a Portrait of Cornelius Schrevelli by Rembrandt. The letter was forwarded to the Trustees of the National Gallery for their consideration.
