Correspondence with the NACF re potential gifts and purchases including offer and/or acceptance letters for 'Bathsheba' by William Blake, presented by the Fund to the National Gallery of British Art [Tate]; three drawings by Charles Keene presented by Mr Bowyer Nichols through the Fund to the National Gallery of British Art; a watercolour drawing by P. Wilson Steer presented by Mr Geoffrey Blackwell through the Fund to the National Gallery of British Art; 'The Burning Kiln' by Mr C.J. Holmes presented by Professor Sadler through the Fund; and a copy of de Hooch's 'Interior' by H.B. Brabazon, presented by Mr Bowyer Nicholls through the Fund. The file also includes a copy of a letter of 2 Feb 1916 from the NACF to the NG offering to contribute half the cost towards the purchase of Canon Sutton's 'Madonna' by Masaccio
