Take an online walk through ‘Radical Harmony: Helene Kröller-Müller's Neo-Impressionists’.
In this 45-minute Members’ tour, exhibition curators Julien Domercq and Christopher Riopelle take you through exhibition highlights, followed by 30-minutes of special Members’ Q&A. See the Neo-Impressionists’ radical use of colour and new painting techniques in exquisite detail, accompanied by curatorial insights.
This radical new style of painting reflected the radical new political ideas of late 19th-century Europe. George Seurat, Paul Signac, Anna Boch, and Jan Toorop painted luminous landscapes, portraits and interior scenes, but also the struggles of the working class.
This exhibition is a collaboration between the National Gallery and the Kröller-Müller Museum, Otterlo.
