About

Join arts writer Holly EJ Black for a talk on her new book, 'The Story of Printmaking: A Global History of Art'.

Contributing Arts Editor at 'The World of Interiors' magazine and author of 'Artists on Art: How They See, Think & Create', Black explores how printmaking, across cultures and centuries, has shaped artistic practice and visual culture. Listen to how printmaking played a vital role around the world as a creative medium and vehicle for communication. Black will cover key practices from woodblock to etching, while tracing the story of print from East Asia through Europe, Mexico and beyond. Along the way, she'll reveal the overlooked stories and global connections behind the printed image.
