About

Delve deeper into the mark making and colour explorations of the Neo-Impressionists. Be inspired by the graphic work on display in our 'Radical Harmony' exhibition and discover some of the drawing techniques that informed their revolution in painting. We will use the paintings of Titian, the ultimate radical, to create our own symphony of marks and colour.

Materials are generously provided by Stabilo.

Joanna Conybeare is an artist and Gallery Educator who has worked in Primary and Secondary schools in London and the south coast as a teacher and subject lead for Art and Design. In her own artistic practice, she uses clay, porcelain and terracotta to explore the figure, enjoying the immediacy of the material that enables her to ‘draw’ three-dimensionally.
