About

To celebrate National Grandparents' Day, we encourage visitors to come along with their grandchildren, or young family members and friends, to explore our paintings together.

Make wonderful memories sharing the wonders of art and visit our new Roden Centre for Creative Learning for a self-led creative activity together. This event is open to all age groups. Please book a free ticket which includes Gallery Entry.

Your guide

Dr Maryanne Saunders is the Howard and Roberta Ahmanson Fellow in Art and Religion at the National Gallery and lecturer at Kings College London. Her research at the Gallery concerns visual depictions of the ancestry of Christ, particularly his grandmother Saint Anne.
