English summaries of the contents of around half of the original letters in NGA8/1.
The summaries appear to have been written by Robert Cust and are arranged in chronological order. They have been given the same items numbers as the original letters in NG8/1 to which they relate.
Summaries exist for letters NGA8/1/1-65 (except numbers NG8/1/4, NG8/1/53 and NG8/1/64) and NGA8/1/77. The final item, NGA8/3/1/80, in this sequence is a list of the letters.
