'Catalogue of paintings composing the Cabinet of the late Mr. Quintin [Quentin] Craufurd': Later typescript copy of a sale catalogue for Quintin Craufurd's picture collection, Paris 1820. The catalogue includes a biographical note on Craufurd. Also included in the file is a typescript biography of Quintin Crauford written by Lady Georgina Craufurd.
Quintin Craufurd the younger (1743-1819) made his fortune in the service of the East India Company. Upon his return to Europe he settled in Paris where he amassed a large collection of paintings.
Most recently in the possession of Lady Georgina Anne Craufurd, a descendent of Quintin Craufurd, by whom it was donated to the National Gallery.
