A letter and account sent 3 Jul 1920 from Captain R. Langton Douglas to the Hon. Marshall Brooks. His letter refers to the "Adoration of the Child" by Francesco di Giovanni (called Botticini) from Charles Butler's Collection which is being to delivered to Brooks. The accompanying account summarises Botticini's career and makes reference to the locations of his paintings, including the "Assumption of the Virgin", attributed to Botticini in Botticelli's studio, in the National Gallery, London.
In addition, there is a bill head signed by R. Langton Douglas on 7 Jul 1920 with the price paid by Brooks.
