Description

A small collection of letters written to Henry Wallis, an art dealer who had a London gallery during the 1920s, which were sent in 1963 from Peter G. Agnew to Hugh Ladas Agnew. The connection to the Agnew family was either that Peter's or Alan Agnew's mother was thought to have come from the Wallis family. The letters date between 1863-1864, and the following artists are represented:
