The following On Sale numbers can be found in this volume (for more information about o/s classifications refer to the "On Sale Books" description at NGA27/3):
Bo/s numbers:
- 1971-2898 (transferred from preceding volume, dating between 1886-1891)
- 1-2724 (dating between 1891-1904)
Mo/s numbers (works which were returned to Mehr):
- 2670, 2488 (1899)
Manchester "On Sale" numbers:
- 2492-2746 (dating between 1900-1904)
Lo/s numbers:
- 80-87 (dating between 1901-1903)
On the last page there is also a note dated November 1902 lists the Turner proofs from Graves & Co. held in Manchester since the Turner Exhibition in July 1900 (and the dates on which they were returned to the former). For more information about the types of o/s numbers noted in this description, refer to "On Sale Books" at NGA27/3.
