Sir Geoffrey Agnew
A file containing correspondence to, from and concerning Sir Geoffrey Agnew (1908-1971), including a photocopy of a letter written by Queen Elizabeth (29 Nov 1984) thanking Geoffrey for her visit to an Exhibition at Agnew's Gallery. This file also contains press cuttings, photographs, and articles relating to signficant sales. Finally, there are a number of obituaries and memorial records after he passed away in 1986, and obituaries written by himself for two German art dealers, Alfred Flechtheim (d.1937) and Rudolf Heinemann (d.1975).
