A series of letters written from William Agnew to his mother Evelyn, 13 Nov 1926-19 Oct 1928, in which he details his time aboard ship. In addition there are a number of telegrams from the 'Admiralty' to Morland and Evelyn Agnew communicating news of William's illness, five black & white photographs of the crew aboard ship and the ship's football team, and a final letter from William during his recovery in (16 Nov 1928).
