Press Cuttings, 1907-1910
A file of loose press cuttings between 1908-1910 reporting on significant sales, Agnew exhibitions, and conflicting opinions re the attribution of the Rokeby Venus to Velasquez. Some cuttings are badly damaged. In addition, there are a number of lists of "Art Sales" (circa 1907-1908) which record the following:
- Pictures and watercolours bought by Thos. Agnew & Sons
- Pictures bought by Gooden & Fox, Wallis & Son, Colnaghi & Co, Connell & Co, Boussod Valadon & Co
- Pictures bought by misc. dealers (Scott & Fowles, Knoedler, Partridge, Reid, Tooth, Renton and Sampson)
