Copy record of a letter from Colin Agnew to Anthony de Rothschild regarding negotiations over the price of 'A Man holding a Falcon' by Titian. Agnew states that interest in Titian and Tintoretto has recently greatly increased in America, but he will sell at a reduced price to Rothschild in order for the painting to remain in England. Agnew also refers to the portrait of 'Lady Rippon' by Thomas Lawrence quotes a proposed selling price, stating that "it would go very suitably with the three pictures you bought last summer.'
