Copy record af a letter from Charles Gerald Agnew to Mr W[illiam] Sheepshanks[ of Arthington Hall, Yorkshire], thanking him for his loan of a "fine Constable" for an exhibition at the firm of Agnew's. Agnew states that he has shown the picture to "a great connoisseur and collector" who wishes to purchase the painting for a named price and asks if Sheepshanks will be willing to sell.
