Description
These stock books have been brought together as a loose group, as they all cover more than one type of artistic medium (including pictures, drawings, engravings, ornaments, frames and sculpture). They record information at point of acquisition ready to be transferred into the associated general run of stock books.
Information contained within some of these volumes can sometimes link to other stock book volumes. For example, engravings recorded in the London Stock Book, Waterloo Place (NGA27/1/3/3) were subsequently transferred into the general Engraving Stock Books which contains the details of sale from Agnew's (NGA27/1/3).
