Further papers include correspondence between Wornum, solicitors and the Nicholson family relating to the acquisition of Thornton Park by William Smith of Windy Walls, brother in-law of Harriet Agnes Wornum and Elizabeth Wood Nicholson. Also contains correspondence and receipts relating to investments in the Hartlepool Stock and the Clarence Railway
