Sending on the only letter addressed to the correspondent today and a card left this morning. Informing the correspondent that a packing case containing Longhi’s portrait of the Venetian senator has arrived, that a Customs Officer will be arriving tomorrow (Wednesday) to witness the cases opened by Mr. Dolman and his men, and that there is no word from Messrs. Henry Guche & Co. re: the pictures from Milan.
