Informing the correspondent that the Ms Cooper of 5 Bedfordbury, St. Martin’s, a parishioner of his, and late assistant housemaid at the Gallery, has been
incapacitated for some months and the Treasury have agreed to allow her a gratuity of [£29 see NG6/6/493], but that she would like the sum in instalments, the Treasury are prepared to direct payment to any responsible person she will indicate to apply it for her benefit, and as Ms Cooper has no relatives would he undertake that duty.
