If a student does not take up his or her place before a picture then Taylor is allowed to occupy the position herself, unless there is another student on the curator's list who has already expressed an interest in copying the picture. With regards to Taylor's complaint about the curator (Archer), Eastlake has already written to Mr Bethell on the subject [NG6/6/391].
