Re the bequest of Jacob Bell. The Trustees have not granted permission to Mr Gambart for the picture [Derby Day]. Mr T.H. Hills, Mr Bell's executor was asked to send the three paintings on 6 Jun 1864, but only the 'Maid and the Magpie' has yet been received
