Requesting that he take Rembrandt's 'Adoration of the Shepherds' [now ascribed to a pupil of Rembrandt] to Sir Frederic Burton's room, that he remove the glass from Gaspar Poussin's [Gaspard Dughet] 'The Calling of Abraham' [now entitled 'Landscape with Elijah and the Angel'], and that he assess the old framing for possible alteration for Michele da Verona's 'The meeting of Coriolanus' [now entitled 'Coriolanus persuaded by his family to spare Rome'].
