Informing him that his letter requesting one of the Loan Collection of Turner watercolour drawings on behalf of the Aberdeen Art Gallery will be laid before the Director on his return from the continent but suggesting that he has hitherto been unwilling to authorise such loans as the pictures are for the use of students.
