Fairfax Murray acknowledges that the Hals drawing has arrived safely. He is sending three photos of painting he has secured: one of the Dosso Dossi, a Flemish picture and a third of a Madonna by Bartolomeo Vivarini. He mentions that Lombardi visited the day before in relation to the purchase of the Loronzetti fresco. He passes on his sympathies about the death of Mr Wornum.
