From Hotel du Louvre Paris: At the sale of the Comte de Pourtales-Gorgier Paris, the Antonello was purchased by the Louvre. Eastlake tried to buy the Moroni and the Bellini. He thought the prices were monstrous and that there will be money for the Duchesse de Berri's sales and the Van Brienen sale.
