Letter from Charles Eastlake to R.N. Wornum

From Hotel du Louvre, Paris: Lord Overstone has a Murillo fragment. Eastlake has now bought the remaining part from the Soult Collection; both it and the frame will be delivered to the National Gallery. Eastlake has found a Flemish portrait, a Moroni and a Lotto, and has made other offers.
